The WMS Data mapping Lead is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the data conversion process during the implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role requires a deep understanding of data migration and transformation techniques, as well as expertise in WMS systems. The WMS Data Conversion Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful transfer of data from existing systems to the new WMS, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compatibility. Lead data mapping sessions with Manhattan MAWM, MHE vendors and Client teams. Create clearly defined payloads that will be sent/received.

The Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the highest quality of source code, limiting technical debt where possible
• Maintaining a high level of User Story hygiene including estimation and status updates
• Ensuring product requirements are understood and delivered in accordance with your own estimates
• Keeping up to date with the latest technology trends and releases
• Delivering in scenarios where you may not agree with every design decision
• Understanding the pros and cons of complex architecture patterns and translating these into technical implementations
• Mentoring Associate Engineers

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years in Development and support of ETL processes including architecting table structure, building ETL process, documentation, and long-term preparedness.
• Experienced in creating complex SSIS packages using proper control and data flow elements with error handling.
• Develop cross validation rules to ensure mapping accuracy
• Wrote Triggers and Stored Procedures using PLSQL for Incremental updates Integrated various sources in to the Staging area in Data warehouse to Integrate and for Cleansing data.
• Involved in building of the Data Warehouse which includes the Design of Data mart using Star Schema Created the Source and Target Definitions in SSIS.
• Created Reusable Transformations to use in Multiple Mappings Developed and updated documentation of processes and system
• Document ETL process thoroughly to allow peers to assist with support as needed.
• Designed and developed SSIS packages to move data from various sources into destination flat files and databases
• Involved in end to end data flow and validation
• Basic concepts of cloud services any ( Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Excellent documentation skills
• Self-sufficient and strong communication skills (must be able to work with external groups departments).
• Strong ability to multi-task prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Must be proactive, flexible and able to work on time sensitive projects.
