Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AS/400 Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, performance, and security while supporting day-to-day operations and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and support AS/400 systems and related hardware/software.

• Perform system backups, recoveries, and regular maintenance.

• Apply patches, upgrades, and perform system tuning.

• Manage user profiles, security settings, and system resources.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in coordination with application and support teams.

• Generate reports and maintain system documentation.

• Provide support for scheduled jobs and batch processing.

Requirements:

• Experience with AS/400 or IBM iSeries systems administration.

• Strong knowledge of CL programming, job scheduling, and system utilities.

• Familiarity with IBM i OS upgrades and patching.

• Good understanding of backup and recovery processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
