MAVES WMS Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced WMS consultant with a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain operations. This dedicated role will be responsible for overseeing and driving projects primarily focusing on Maves WMS implementations and related initiatives, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the warehousing domain and demonstrate a proven track record of managing complex projects in the logistics and distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end WMS and related technology, focusing on Maves implementations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the project team and operations, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and addressing challenges in a timely manner.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Leverage strong WMS knowledge and hands-on experience (preferably with platforms like MAVES) to drive project success.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the warehousing domain, including order fulfillment, inventory management, materials handling, and logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with business owners, IT, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze WMS requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on WMS implementations within the supply chain/distribution management space.
  • Proven experience leading WMS implementation projects, preferably with Tier 1 WMS like MAVES (Required).
  • Deep understanding of warehousing operations and logistics processes.
  • Experience with project management tools such as ADO, ServiceNow, or MS Project.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk management, and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively.
