Client is seeking a talented Performance Test Engineer to ensure our e-commerce and retail systems deliver fast, reliable, and scalable experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing tools, scripting, and CI/CD integration, with a strong focus on optimizing web and retail applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute performance and load testing scenarios for retail applications using k6, Playwright, and Neoload.
• Automate performance tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize e-commerce and backend systems.
• Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks to support new features and releases.
Must-Have Skills:
• Extensive hands-on experience with k6, Playwright, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Neoload for load and performance testing.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Knowledge of e-commerce or retail system performance considerations (site speed, scalability, peak load handling).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for performance testing.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of additional performance testing tools or frameworks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in performance testing, preferably in retail or e-commerce systems.
