We are looking for a Functional MDM Analyst with deep expertise in the Informatica MDM Multidomain suite. Your primary mission is to translate complex business stakeholder requirements into technical metadata specifications. You will serve as the functional architect who defines the rules that the Informatica MDM Developer will configure within the Hub.
Discovery & Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business owners to define entity requirements for domains (Customer, Product, Supplier) and identify source systems.
Data Discovery & Profiling: Use Informatica IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) to profile source data, identifying anomalies and gaps before they reach the MDM Hub.
Defining MDM Logic: * Document Match & Merge strategies (Exact vs. Fuzzy logic).
Define Trust and Survivorship rules to determine which source system provides the "truth" for specific attributes.
Design Validation and Cleanse rules for the Informatica stage process.
Functional Design Handover: Produce detailed Source-to-Target Mappings (STM) and functional design documents that guide the developer in configuring Landing, Staging, and Base Objects.
Data Stewardship Design: Work with the business to design the Data Director (IDD) or Entity 360 user interface, ensuring data stewards can easily manage and resolve data tasks.
Informatica Hub Knowledge: Functional understanding of the Informatica MDM Hub Console (Schema, Match/Merge, Trust, Queries/Packages).
Data Mapping: Expert level in Source-to-Target mapping, including complex transformations and lookups.
Hierarchy Management: Ability to define business hierarchies and relationships within the Informatica framework.
SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills to query source systems and validate data landing in the MDM Hub.
