PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional Consultant
Remote, RemoteWe are looking for a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Lead specializing in the Financials (FSCM) suite. This is a high-impact role requiring a rare blend of functional process knowledge and "under-the-hood" technical expertise. You will be the primary architect for our Billing (BI) and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules, ensuring that our invoicing and payment cycles are efficient, accurate, and seamlessly integrated via EDI with our global partners.

- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Billing and AR modules, guiding the business on best practices for invoice processing, payment predictors, and aging.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate complex accounting needs into Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
- Oversee the end-to-end "Bill-to-Cash" cycle, ensuring successful data flow from Billing to AR and ultimately to the General Ledger.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Application Engine programs and SQR reports for high-volume batch processing.
- Utilize PeopleCode (including Application Classes and Component Buffer) to customize online pages and implement business logic validations.
- Troubleshoot and tune SQL performance to ensure batch windows are met.
- Architect and support EDI integrations (specifically 810 Invoices and 820 Remittance Advice) using Integration Broker, File Layouts, and Component Interfaces.
- Manage communications with external VANs (Value Added Networks) and trading partners to resolve transmission errors or data mapping issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production defects, specifically regarding Payment Predictor failures or Direct Journal errors.
- Assist in PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager) cycles by performing impact analysis and retrofitting customizations.
