DC Technician

Position Summary 
Provide technical and operational support by completing assigned tasks under the guidance of the Manager and senior team members for applications and systems used within distribution center and supply chain operations. Core applications include, but are not limited to, MAWM (WMS), WES, and WCS.

Roles and Responsibilities 
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications and hardware owned by the DC Systems team, including MAWM (WMS), WES, and WCS. 
- Work across multiple functional areas with a strong focus on execution (“how” work is done) and operational delivery. 
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve development efficiency and team productivity. 
- Review, assign, and resolve support tickets based on business priorities. 
- Maintain and regularly update ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA): 
  - Keep action items current by updating progress and adjusting scope as needed. 
  - Add clear notes when moving tickets to “Blocked,” including reasons for status change. 
  - Provide concise summaries upon ticket closure, including work performed and any relevant observations or potential follow-up concerns. 
- Support distribution center-specific requirements across various system-related projects. 
- Assist in implementing system modifications, configurations, and enhancements. 
- Serve as an initial point of contact for business users regarding product or system-related queries. 
- Contribute to user story development (with Product Managers owning primary responsibility for story creation). 
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades, patches, and system configurations. 
- Conduct exploratory technical investigations (spikes) to evaluate potential solutions and improvements. 
- Provide basic desktop and network troubleshooting support as required. 
- Flexibility to work outside standard schedules to support project-related initiatives when needed. 
- Participate in on-call rotation and support coverage. 

Qualifications 
- Travel required, including potential international travel. 
- 1–2 years of experience in an advanced troubleshooting role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. 
- High school diploma, technical school training, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 
- Strong ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with project teams. 
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and/or Google Workspace. 
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. 
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.
