We are seeking a Senior Microfocus COBOL Developer with extensive experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Microfocus COBOL and VSAM, along with essential skills in shell scripting and Linux. Knowledge of Postman and PHP is a plus, and experience in the retail/supply chain industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Microfocus COBOL and VSAM.
Write and maintain shell scripts in a Linux environment.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Utilize analytical skills to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
7-10 years of hands-on experience in Microfocus COBOL and VSAM.
Proficiency in shell scripting and Linux.
Knowledge of Postman and PHP (preferred).
Experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
